Become a Keyperson
The success of optometry’s state advocacy efforts greatly depends on the strength of the OOPAC Keyperson Program. Keypersons serve as a vital, grassroots link to members of our state legislature and their staffs. They are dedicated to establishing a close relationship with a legislator, maintaining an active line of communication with the legislator and their staff, and stay actively involved in supporting the profession by attending our Advocacy Day at the Capitol and legislative hearings in Salem.
